I hustled my way to Kohl’s this morning to make some returns.
A very loud BUZZ was in the air as I walked through the doors.
There were people everywhere.
A line serpentined from the front of the store around to the back.
Customers were loaded down.
I thought, “Do I need anything this badly?”
This. Is. Madness.
Then, I heard someone call my name, “Janell!”
It was Rita, my hair stylist and dear friend, adorned from head to toe in Christmas glimmer.
We joined arms and had so many laughs.
I then followed her to the Hallmark store and had even more laughs.
Who knew Black Friday could be so fun?
Rita knew, and she sprinkled glimmer dust all over me.
